How to Report the News

I know there’s been a distinct lack of content here on Project Silence the last few weeks, but luckily we have Etta around to at least bring you an entry in the fantastic and long running Ettatorial once a week (every Sunday for those in the know). Thanks for holding down the fort (like always), Etta.

It’s not that there hasn’t been news. Apple announced the iPad, Jon Stewart went on Bill O’Reilly’s show, and Microsoft is shutting down Xbox Live service for the original Xbox. No, the reason isn’t a lack of things to talk about, in all honesty, it’s because I’m a pretty lazy guy and really, what more am I going to say about these stories? The iPad will change the way we compute, or it won’t because it’s such a closed system and really needs a few more generations to be a complete product. Fox News (and everyone else on the planet) continue to present a narrative that presents their view of the way the world works to a lot of gullible people, blah, blah, blah. If you are still playing Halo 2 get a job and upgrade to Halo 3, it’s long past time (but you can pass on ODST). There you go, now this is starting to look like a blog again!

Anyway, here’s a clever little piece from the BBC that will show you exactly how to report the, “news”.
