Will Ferrell Tells Will Arnet: I’ll Fund Arrested Development Movie

At a Q&A session at Boston College featuring Will Ferrell a student asks what he is doing to help his buddy Will Arnet get the AD movie mad, jokingly he says he’ll pay for the whole thing himself. But seriously they do, once again, mention that it is being talked about and is a real possibility. As I’ve mentioned before, this really needs to happen.
Not only that, but this video features some other classic Will Ferrell moments, well worth checking out.

YES!!! That was great! It really shows you once again that Will Ferrell’s true talent lies in spur-of-the-moment, spontaneous comedy. The guy truly is a genius (Blades of Glory and Talladeega Nights not withstanding).
On another note, it’s encouraging that there is at least “talks” to get an Arrested Development movie made. I mean, why not? They can make 4 “Saw” movies in 4 years but this actually has to be given “consideration” before they spend money on it? Listen to the crowd cheer when that kid brings up the show! You can’t tell me that millions of people didn’t love and adore this program (which, in my opinion, just might have been the funniest 30 minutes on TV, EVER!). Here’s hoping that Hollywood gets it right for once and gives us the further adventures of the Bluth clan.

The only reason AD was a commercial failure was Fox’s inability to advertise it correctly. Now, years after it’s demise, it has far more fans than it ever did while it was actually television. A movie would be a huge hit.
