The Ettatorial for the Week of 11-26-08

A small week this week, making for just one pick of the week again.  Without further ado, here we go.

My pick for this week is #113.  The third part of “Lady Bullseye” is in every way an entertaining comic.  Easy to comprehend even if one comes in with no idea what’s going on, and that says something in this age of serialization being meant for collection in tradepaperback form later.  Well written and illustrated by Brubaker and Lark, there really isn’t that much more I can say about the quality that this title has managed to maintain through-out their run.  New villain Lady Bullseye proves to be intriguing, and with the bonus of co-stars Iron Fist (nice to see Brubaker get back to him after his short run on the title) and Black Tarantula, and new character Master Izo (his partnership with Tarantula proves to make a well done comedy duo), the book almost gives a team vibe, and that’s a nice change of pace for a solitary character like .  A good pick for the week, seems to always provide a quality read month in, and month out.

So there you have it, your pick for this week.  We’ll see you back here next week, same time, same channel.
