The Ettatorial for the Week of 2-20-08
By Etta | February 23, 2008
A nice week of releases this week, highlighted by my pick of the week. While a couple of books almost made it as picks also (Godland #21 and surprisingly Amazing Spider-Man #551), only one actually gets the nod.
Ex Machina #34 is the pick for this week. The issue is a nice stand alone tale after the last four parter, and focuses instead on a character piece for Commissioner Angotti. It’s always nice to see Vaughan flesh out any of his supporting characters, as he’s done in the past for Bradbury and Kremlin. Here we get a nice light shined on not just Angotti’s past as a police officer and Commissioner, but even get to see a bit of how her personal life has driven her during that time.
Well, there you have your pick of the week. Go out, read, and enjoy.
