The Ettatorial for the Week of 7-25-07
A very good week of releases this week, one of the stronger in recent months, and that’s saying a lot, considering I missed out on two books that would have been strong contenders for book of the week. Instead, I went with what I actually purchased, and it still was a difficult choice. I was impressed with the new offering from Avatar (not too surprised, considering the writer, and the concept-the future and technology vs society) and happily surprised with Morrison making Batman entertaining after the mediocrity of the last few issues. Your picks this week are Doktor Sleepless #1 and Batman #666.
