Transmet-10 Years and Still Telling It Like It Is
By Etta | May 24, 2007
It’s hard to believe, but Warren Ellis’ magnum opus Transmetropolitan is 10 years old this year. It was a series that was an important part of comics as a whole, and Vertigo in particular. Not to mention one of the best series I personally have ever read. What follows here is what is assumed to be a student project, featuring one of Spider’s rants from Transmet. It was true then, it’s true now.

It’s definitely a student project, though I’ve still got to go and collect the marks for it.
In the hand in version, the credits aren’t present, it’s 40 seconds long, and there’s some stuff at the end as if it was an advert for a Panorama (current affairs investigation news) program. I’ve even got some posters in the same style somewhere around.
It’s nice being sometimes able to mix work and the stuff I enjoy and believe in.
