Watchmen Movie to Comic Comparisons
![]()
The Watchmen movie really hasn’t entered my radar at all, not because I don’t love the source material, but because I just don’t see how you can condense that amount of amazing material into a single two hour film. These images, originally posted on Zack Snyder’s blog, go a long way towards changing my mind. Credit to Maxim for taking the time to find the locations in the actual comic.
Director Zack Snyder proved with 300 that he is a fan of comics, and can stay very true to his source material, while still creating a compelling, entertaining film. If he can pull that off with Watchmen, he will earn my title of greatest comic movie director ever, just from this film alone (that is not to say that I don’t still have doubts).
