Blu-ray Disc Demonstration
Here’s my take on those Blu-ray disc demonstrations that play before most DVD’s and Blu-ray’s today. I also took this as an opportunity to poke a little fun at NBC and their current late night mess.
This one’s for 18 and over. Wait for nap time.

hey there jay. haven’t talked to you in a long time. just curious. it sounds as thought you’ve gave into the pressure, and have started supporting blu ray…..or have you. i thought that you liked HD – DVD more. you once told me that HD DVD was better for the consumer. also i talked to Dan McGuiness and he told me that one day you got into an argument with his brother jeff in regards to whether or not peanut butter was available for purchase in china. what was dan getting at when he said that?
I love it! I can TOTALLY see Jay arguing with someone over whether or not peanut butter is sold in China. In fact, Jay is the only person I know that would involve himself in such an argument. I can even see his face as he gets increasingly mad when you disagree with him! ;P Right on, buddy.
Ok looks like some brands were banned in china with the salmonella outbreak 3 years ago, http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/china/2007-02/25/content_812859.htm which leads me to believe it is sold there, or else how could the ban it?
I just had to look it up, sounded like a crazy argument.
BTW blue-ray can kiss my ass… at least until the price of a disc comes down, I refuse to pay double for the same move that looks slightly better. I hope digital download kills it in the end, but thats a whole other argument.

First off, Blu-ray is still inferior to HD-DVD in every way.
Second, that sounds like the kind of weird fact Jeff would pick up somewhere, but I have absolutely no memory at all of discussing peanut butter in China, but it did make me laugh (and I can’t believe Brian looked it up!).
