Bungie Removed Custom Games From Halo 3 to Keep Matchmaking Full

I don’t know how reliable AdvancedMN is, as I’ve never heard of them, but they are claiming that Bungie’s own Luke Smith contacted them with information on the missing Custom Games Browser in Halo 3,
“XBL Public was a feature that, like many features in game development, ended up on the cutting room floor. The challenges in this case weren’t technical as Mr. Eberspecher suggested, but rather, it was a design decision to keep a sizable playerbase in our Matchmaking playlists.”
If this is true, it’s total BS. A Custom Game list should have been in Halo 2, let alone Halo 3, and Bungie’s removal to force us into lame matchmaking is a poor excuse (Shotty Snipers you are the bane of my existence!). But I’ve bitched about this before, so I’ll drop it.
