I’ve spent a little time the last few days playing Forza Motorsport 2 on the . So far I’m quite impressed. The visuals are solid, the 60 frames per second is silky smooth, online play is mostly lag free and enjoyable. All in all it’s fantastic racing sim, if you are into that kind of thing.

The game can be very realistic, sometimes too much so. I know a bit about , but not as much as some, so it can be tough to tune my and remain competitive on . Some gear heads just know way to much about automobiles to be playing a video game. None the less, it’s somewhat impressive when a guy in a car with the same as yours goes 0-60 nearly twice as fast.

The paint program is simply amazing. There are some that are simply works of art. My little Mini Cooper looks silly by comparison. There is an auction house where you can view and bid on cars people have painted and I have to say, many are simply stunning. I have to find out how to move a paint job from one car model to another, but I know there has to be a way. I plan to have an entire fleet of Project Silence autos.
