George Lucas Promises Indy 4 Will Be Good
Of course this is the same guy who brought you The Phantom Menace.
Lucas proclaims that Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be as good as Raiders of the Lost Ark, high claims from a man who hasn’t been involved with a truly enjoyable film in 20 years, but to his credit, that last watchable film was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be a happy guy if Indy 4 is actually good, I just have serious doubts. There are so many things going against it. It’s been 20 years since the last movie, the window of opportunity for a sequel is closed. Harrison Ford is 60 years old. Lucas’s recent movies have all been lack-luster at best. But Indy is Indy, one of the greatest adventure movie hero’s of all time, we can’t stop this movie being made, let’s just hope it doesn’t ruin the name.
