Samsung Finally Unveils Decent Hybrid Player
The LG Hybrid HD-DVD/Blue-ray player doesn’t truly support the HD-DVD format, sure it plays the movies, but not the special features, the one thing that sets HD-DVD apart from Blue-ray. Samsung’s upcoming BD-UP5000, will be the first play to support all HD-DVD functionality and also the soon to be released BD 1.1, the update that will give Blue-ray supporters all those snazzy special features HD-DVD owners have had for a while. Nice going Samsung, now, let’s talk about that price and maybe we can leave this whole stupid war behind.
