Soundgarden Returns? Please be True!
A new site, Soundgardenworld.com, has launched making a bold claim: “The 12 year break is over and school is back in session”. There have been a lot of rumors of a Soundgarden reunion, and it’s certainly something many (myself included) wish to see happen, but is this true or a pretty well executed joke? Time will tell I guess.
A whois search of the site reveals it was registered by:
The Artists Organization
212 Marine Street, No. 307
Santa Monica, California 90405
United States
A quick search of Wikipedia reveals that The Artists Organization is a Management company responsible for The Black Crows and others. Of course keep in mind a whois search can be falsified as well, but this does mean if it’s a fake, it was well thought out. My money is on it being true, for the time being.

I’ve always criticized exagerated fans of any kind, I’ve never felt any bands deserve that much. I’ve always criticized those empty headed teens crying for their idols. I’ve always criticized comebacks…never thought their were trust worthy. I love music but hate concerts…standing up in a crowd…I’d rather watch a DVD.
Well I guess I am a huge ass HYPOCRATE because the news of a soundgarden comeback almost made me cry…really! I was truly emotional…I guess fans of WELL CRAFTED SONGS were orfans for a long time now…this band is something RELEVANT in the course of Rock’n roll music….PLEASE MAY THIS NEWS BE TRUE!
Well, good news friend. The news is absolutely true. Chris Cornell himself has confirmed it.
What isn’t known it what this will result in. New album? Just a tour? I don’t know, but what I do know is just what you said, we just don’t see bands like Sound Garden anymore, and maybe they can teach some of the youngsters a thing or two.
