Breaking News-Heath Ledger Dead at 28

In a sad turn of events, actor Heath Ledger has been found dead in an apartment in NYC. While any death is sad, the reason for the post is his upcoming role as the Joker in “The Dark Knight”, the new Batman movie, which poised to turn this already talented young actor into a super-star. We here at ProjectSilence are sad to see his passing.

Jesus. When Jay called and told me about this my heart just dropped. Here’s a guy who’s incredibly talented and had everything going for him. He was a new father and was just about to become a mega-star with the new Batman sequel…and then this.
The culture that Hollywood breeds for young people is appalling. That heavy drug use and self-loathing is so common place is just sickening to me. Now this guy’s poor little daughter will only know her Dad from the roles he played in film instead of getting to grow up with him there for her.
Matilda Ledger lost her daddy today and the rest of the world lost a great young actor. I hope Heath finds the peace in death that I guess he couldn’t in life.
