Sarah supports birth control:

The rape thing falls under a general bill to have medical proceedures sent to insurance rather than tax payers, which I would agree with, it’s not a direct bill that if you get raped you have to pay. Still sounds pretty crappy though. I see both sides of that one, maybe they should have an amendment for that medical proceedure:

I know you guys are pationate about Obama, and I think thats great, (even though I strongly denounce him) but just be careful not to fall into that rumor game that can plague both sides, and make people loose credibility for valid arguments.
So far I can’t find a reason to vote for either one of them, but I agree, thats no excuse not to vote at all, I’ll at least write someone in if I have to. It’s everyone’s duty as a citizen to vote!
The Birth Control information is news to me, I’ll have to do more looking into it, still a shame she didn’t teach her daughter about it.
The Rape Kit thing is a problem, what if you don’t have insurance (millions of Americans don’t)? Plus the whole FFL thing is yet another issue I have with her: http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/8/31/134127/530.
It also kind of falls under a differance you and I have (and one I have with Obama) that I feel the insurance system is completely broken beyond repair and it is inexcusible that we are the only western nation without some form of Socialized Medicine (uh oh, I said the evil word! Socialism! Kind of like Police Officers and Fire Men).
Even as a child I thought it was odd that if I called 911, 2 out of the 3 services that would arrive at my house where free, funded by the state, while the 3rd was so expensive we had to hope we would never need it or we couldn’t pay the bills.
And yes, we are passionate about Obama, more than I think I have ever been able to get behind a candidate. Yes, I was pro-Kerry, but not really because I liked the guy, so much as hated the other one.
I do wonder why do denounce Obama so much. I know you and I differ greatly on our Politics, but I would think you would be behind a guy who is strongly anti-lobbist, for cutting government spending and more things I know you get behind.
Still, you could always write in Mr. Al Gore (as I would have done if Hillary had won the nomination).
