What’s More Important to You: Money or Freedom?

Maybe I’m drilling this whole debate down to concepts that are too simple, but I personally feel that it’s a sad state of the world when we are more interested in making money than we are in protecting freedom. One Response to What’s More Important to You: Money or Freedom?

Although I disagree with filtering, this is actually exactly what defines freedom, it’s supply and demand, Microsoft makes a product that someone else wants, and they are able to sell it for a profit. We can’t say that we shouldn’t make guns anymore because some people use them for evil deeds…. On the other hand, having a government that takes my money, and my kids, and grandkids money by force (yes force, try not paying your taxes for a couple years and see what happens) and gives it to people who have screwed up, or ran a bad business… now that is a loss of freedom! Socialism, here we come!!!
