A Dark, Dying Sky Over Death Valley

I remember when I was young (not really that long ago, I far from an old man) and in boy scout camp, the night sky was really something to be impressed by. I was lucky enough to grow up in Iowa, where you didn’t have to go far to escape the city lights and see incredible views the poor folks in larger city’s have probably never seen. It’s sad that even in my short life, the view of the night sky has diminished so much. Enjoy it while you can.
