Assassin’s Creed Soundtrack to be Composed by Jesper Kyd

    Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

I’ve never heard the name Jesper Kyd, but we all know his work from titles like the Hitman series and Freedom Fighters. As amazing as Assassin’s Creed is looking, it needs a great Soundtrack to complete the package. From the Press Release:
Today Ubisoft, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, announced the score for […]

The final piece of downloadable content for Oblivion is coming on October 15th, and if you download it during the first week, it will be free. Thank you Bethesda!

Why Halo 3 needs a custom games browser

    Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

A great article on a feature that was missing in Halo 2 and for some mysterious reason is still missing in Halo 3. Bungie did everything right, except this. Matchmaking is Halo online’s greatest weakness. Fix it Bungie!

Halo 3 Downloadable Content on the Way?

    Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

Seems downloadable content (new maps and weapons) may be coming to Halo 3 fairly soon. Microsoft accidentally served me this ad early yesterday morning (click for larger version). Clicking it didn’t actually lead me to any new maps or weapons. Doh!

Free Xbox Live Arcade game: Yaris

    Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

Toyota is sponsoring a free game on XBLA. It looks like a simple and fun racing game where you drive, wait for it, a Toyota Yaris. I’m not big on in game ad’s, but when the game is free I can’t really complain about it being one big ad.

    Bungie and Microsoft Split

    Friday, October 5th, 2007

In a shocking piece of news, Bungie and Microsoft have announced that Bungie is once again an independent company.
Shocking that Microsoft is allowing this to happen, they own Bungie and don’t have to let this go through, but Bungie is going to stay on as a second party developer making games for Xbox 360 including, […]

    Halo 3: Sticky

    Thursday, October 4th, 2007

Halo 3 has been out for a week now and we have been pretty good about talking about it less. Here’s an amazing video of a grenade that just wouldn’t give up without a stick.

    Rock Band price set: $169

    Friday, September 28th, 2007

MTV’s Blog has released info on Rock Band pricing. $169 is less than we expected, but still fairly pricey. Plus 360 owners get the shaft, a wired guitar while PS3 has wireless for the same price. What gives? They figure no one will buy the PS3 version, since no one has one, or they get […]
