Thou Shalt Always Kill
I’m totally not the audience for this. I’m a guy who lives in Iowa, in the middle of the country where radio won’t be playing this anytime soon. I’m generally not one for spoken word, electronica, or hip-hop (yes, there are always exceptions, I do have eclectic tastes, but I’m working on a bit here, so humor me). But after hearing this, I really enjoyed it. I actually listened to it a couple times, which is always a positive sign. And I even researched the guys behind this “Dan Le Sac VS. Scroobius Pip”, listening to them on a radio show after the song garnered them a whole lot of attention (which for those reading, I didn’t even know was happening) and found both to be intelligent, cool guys who seem to have their stuff together. Maybe I’m just a sucker for British accents, or some nods to actual good culture and music, who knows. So go on, give it a listen, it’s been a while since ProjectSilence had some music, and I figured we needed something new and different.
